Buying equipment over the internet, may be less, but not that much lower, but it does come with risk. One of our customers bought a tank and regulator from 2 different sources. The tank had 6 neck cracks in it, and the regulator was designed for 2250psi service only.

Most internet purchases are not covered under any warranty. The supplier buys huge numbers from a different source then the manufacture so the manufacture wont provide warranty service.
